Took some shots yesterday of an exhibit opening Saturday at Craven Allen Gallery called “Homegrown/Under 35.” Curated by arts advocate Helen Griffin, “Homegrown/Under 35″ features 16 young artists who share a common background: discovering their passion for the arts in the Durham Public Schools. Got a chance to see the space before it’s mobbed with visitors (as I have high hopes it will be). For more information on the exhibit, check out this post on the Clarion Content. In the meanwhile here’s just a snapshot of some of the wonderful art you can check out at the Craven starting this weekend!
