Cocoa Cinnamon Feature

I was recently asked to stop by Durham’s amazing coffee, chocolate and tea shop Cocoa Cinnamon to take some photos for a feature on I’d definitely recommend you CLICK HERE to read that piece, written by my friend Melissa Howsam. It’s a great look at CC as a new but already firmly established feature of Durham’s foodie scene, part of the je ne sais quoi that makes Durham Durham.

I had an amazing time hanging out with Areli and Leon, who taught me exactly how many pounds of pressure should be applied to the perfect espresso, and how dark or light the liquid should look when it comes out. They are meticulous in their process, and you can taste it in the end result. I got some great shots that day, and since they didn’t all make it into the feature on, I wanted to post them here. I think they capture how much love goes into every Cocoa Cinnamon product, and how committed the staff are to their guests having a great experience. Enjoy!
